Green Canyon is a highly desirable community in Fallbrook, California known for its big estates and horse properties.

Green Canyon residents do not pay a Mello Roos fee or Home Owners Association dues. Most of the lots are big enough for RV parking, swimming pools, FFA animals, or horses.

The Fallbrook Unified Elementary School District and the Fallbrook Union High School District have jurisdiction over this area. Student may attend facilities such as Live Oak Elementary School, James E. Potter Intermediate School, and Fallbrook High School. There are also several private schools like St. Peters Catholic School, Zion Lutheran School, and SonRise Christian Fellowship Preschool. Nearby colleges include Palomar College and San Joaquin Valley College.

This community is close to freeway access and downtown historic Fallbrook where you’ll find art galleries, boutiques, golf, nature trails, casinos, and resorts. This is the social and cultural center for the city. There are several shopping centers like the Colony Plaza Shopping Center and the River Village Plaza.

There are trails and parks throughout the region like Live Oaks Park. And just a few minutes away is the Fallbrook Golf Club which is popular for its Sycamore, Eucalyptus, and Live Oaks trees. This par-72 regulation course is challenging and friendly for golfers of all skill sets. And AJ’s Taphouse offers a variety of beers and entrees.

The City of Fallbrook is known as the “Avocado Capital of the World” because of its many avocado groves. Large crowds of visitors and locals attend the annual Avocado Festival downtown. Fallbrook is located east of the United States Marine Corps Camp Pendleton and was once the stop for a stage coach that traveled from Temecula to San Diego.
